How Can I Become an IDKE XII Ambassador?
So you'd like to become an offical Ambassador for IDKE XII - we say FABULOUS! Without people like you we couldn't reach out to everyone and the Baltimore Gender Justice Collective really wants this year's IDKE XII to have as many people as possible!
What does an official ambassador do? As an ambassador your main goal is just that! Spreading the word about IDKE XII to your local area and acting as an offical point of contact for your area should people have questions, concerns, want to help, etc. There are *so* many ways to help spread the word - here are some examples of some things you can do:
- posting advertisements (IDKE main flyer, retweets, general information about registation) through social media outlets (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc.)
- sending out emails to your personal contacts
- putting out postcards, stickers and flyers at local bars/clubs/etc.
- delivering sponsor packets to businesses you think would sponsor IDKE XII
- Throwing a benefit show with a portion or all of the proceeds going to IDKE XII
And as as small token of our gratitude, we would recognize you as an official IDKE XII Ambassador on the Ambassador page of our website.
