You might be asking yourself, "Why should I come to Baltimore?"
Why shouldn't you come to Baltimore is the real question.

One reason that Baltimore is wonderful is that it's close to so many other major cities on the east coast. Buses come in from Philadelphia, New York, DC, Boston and other east coast cities. If train travel is more your thing, Baltimore's Penn Station is also very close to where IDKE will be taking place. If you're flying, Baltimore-Washington International Airport is a short 20-minute drive from the city, with shuttles that run into the city regularly.

And there's plenty to do in Baltimore! If you're into sports, try to get to a Ravens game. More into art? Check out a museum like the Walters Art Museum, the Baltimore Museum of Art and the American Visionary Arts Museum are just a few that come to mind out of the many art galleries and museums we have! Animals more your thing? Then you definitely have to go to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. While you're at it, take a walk around the Inner Harbor, or down to Fell's Point. And to top it all off, we have Charm City Cakes!

Just in case you were wondering - Baltimore is NOT like The Wire - At least not the parts we'll be having fun in. Just like in any other city, there are certain parts with a higher crime rate than others; however, the area in which IDKE will be held, Charles Village, has a very low crime rate.

So again we ask you -- why shouldn't you be coming to Baltimore?
